RGI Airport Gets Global Accreditation

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has received global accreditation for efficiently managing and reducing carbon emissions in the Asia-Pacific region. Airport Council International, a global body of airport operators, has accredited RGIA at Lev-el 2- ‘Reduction’ under its airport carbon accreditation programme, which is based on European standards.

The certification was presented to RGIA on Friday during the 8th ACI Asia-Pacific Small Airport seminar. Vikram Jaisinghani, CEO of RGIA, said the accreditation is a significant milestone in advancing the airport’s overall sustainability strategy.
