Union minister of state for defence Jitendra Singh on Thursday inaugurated the Software Defined Radio (SDR) system at HAL’s Strategic Electronic Research Design Centre (SLRDC) here. Speaking on the occasion, the minister appreciated HAL for its indigenous development of Softnet Radio for Airborne Communication and Net Centric Warfare and manufacturing high-end tech-instruments.
